We got to the shelter and had lunch, then sat, trying to wait out the rain. And getting cold. I was just about to throw in the towel and say let's just stay here when Subaru said " we should go". He was right of course. It stopped raining and the sun struggled out. We crossed a beautiful meadow and ended up at the shelter up on top of a bald. We took put pur tents and dried them out, reunited with Dorothy and Earth Balance for an impromptu yoga session, and slept on comfortable grass.
